Running to us is pure freedom; it is the one sport you can take with you wherever you go, unencumbered by equipment and gear. It is a space where complete freedom can be found. Running is also one of the best workouts on Earth, whether in solitude or with a group you always have an opportunity to discover something new about yourself. Running in Santa Monica and the Malibu Canyons allows us some of the most spectacular terrain on Earth. We are so fortunate to live in a place that offers so many beautiful breath taking canyons, trails, mountains and roads.

Wednesday Track Workout – 6:30am

This Wednesday morning track session is designed to help make you a better, faster runner. Led by TriFit coach Bernard Baski (link to his bio), we concentrate on run technique and interval training. The workout will start at 6:30am, please come 5-10 minutes early to warm-up. Don’t worry about your level of running. Whether you are Running,TriFit, or just trying to increase your level of fitness, the track will help you to be a faster, more efficient runner at every distance. Join us every Wednesday morning for this informative, fast and fun workout.  The Track is located at Santa Monica College on Pico and 16th in Santa Monica, CA.  Please park parallel to the track in the metered parking which is free until 8 am.

Sunday Trail Run @ Santa Monica Canyons – 8:00 am

Steve Acciarto, ultra endurance runner will lead these runs each Sunday unless he’s racing.  Please check the calendar and read the weekly TFMS email for location and time and any changes.  These runs will average 7-10 miles, everyone has the option of running longer or shorter- all levels are welcome.
